About the motive

GRAPHIC ILLUSTRATION by Bengt Holm

The beautiful bridge connects Sweden with the continent and Malmö with Copenhagen. It was inaugurated on July 1, 2000 and many have passed through the years.
In the picture we see some kitesurfers who have just passed under the bridge and this gives a lively feeling to the poster.
The attentive observer can see that the surfers have the Danish and Swedish colors in their screens.
A playful image with slightly muted colors gives the painting a stylish expression that fits as a solitaire or on a painting wall.
